The Case Against Ryan and Catherine Caccamo
On October 14, 2026 a grand jury in Coweta County returned a 6 count indictment against Catherine Courtney Caccamo, 31, and Ryan Christopher Caccamo, 35. The 6 counts include a count of Aggravated Child Molestation, two counts of Child Molestation, two counts of incest, and a single count of bestiality. Arrest warrants were issued for the couple the next day, October 15.
All but one of the counts are alleged to have occurred between October 1, 2023 and December 31, 2023, a time period in which the defendants and numerous children resided at a residence within Coweta County. The one remaining charge, the bestiality charge, is alleged to have occurred on or about the 12th day of September, 2022.
The couple, who relocated to the Gulf Coast in late 2024, were arrested on October 21 by the Long Beach Police Department in Harrison County, MS.
On October 23, 2026 booking records from the Harrison County Jail show that both had been before a local judge and both had waived extradition, clearing the way for their return to Coweta County to face their charges.
A Conflicting Past
The charges came as a shock not only to the Coweta County community where they still have deep roots, but also in the Long Beach and Bay St. Louis, MS communities where they now reside and operate several businesses.
However the nature of the charges were particularly shocking to those in the Coweta County area who remember vividly the November 2021 indictment against Catherine's ex-husband Ricardo Rodriguez Rodriguez, who was charged with many of the same crimes against a child in their household, charges he eventually plead guilty to leading to him being sentenced to life in jail with 20 years to serve in prison. For those that stood by Catherine during the fallout of that incident, who heard her emotional victim impact statement at his sentencing hearing, the news of the charges leveled a particularly hard blow.
As part of our coverage we'll be taking a fresh look at the 2021 case and the shadow it casts on the alleged events in this case, as well as Catherine's life until now.
The Road to the Present
The second focus of our coverage beyond the legal proceedings of the current case is the life that Ryan and Catherine have built in the period after the alleged activity and now, what decisions they've made and what, if any, motivation can be gleaned from those decisions.
